Why Climb

Test your strength. Push your limits. Fight ALS. Climb in honor of Claire Gormley Collier and for those affected by this disease. Your support will raise awareness and provide equipment, treatment, care, and financial relief to those affected by ALS.

ABOUT THE Event

Join us as either a biker or runner to celebrate Claire’s life and those affected by ALS. Participants will cycle or run hill repeats on a .5 mile hill with an average slope of 7% and elevation gain of 131 feet. Each repeat will be tracked. The goal, to do as many as possible!

All proceeds benefit Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS). CCALS is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support people diagnosed with ALS, their families, healthcare providers, and communities as they navigate the complexities, both physical and emotional, associated with the disease. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational opportunities, insurance and Medicare assistance, guidance and awareness with regards to living with ALS, caregiving, and exploring end-of-life when invited. CCALS offers an innovative approach to delivering support and services to our clients, which we tailor to the needs of each individual and their support network.
